LawBreakers At 50% Off, Play It For Free This Weekend
LawBreakers is holding another free weekend with hopes of increasing their declining playerbase and it couldn’t have come at a more opportune time. MMO Fallout recently captured a screenshot registering a current player count of “zero”. Now we’re not jumping to conclusions here, the servers might have been down during that time, but the game’s 24-hour peak of 43 players speaks for itself. The game is also at half-price until November 14th.
Considering that the game’s main problem is the lack of players, the price slash and the free weekend offerings might actually help breathe life back into the game’s dying playerbase. Last month, Boss Key Studios’ CEO Cliff Bleszinski referred to the LawBreakers marketing strategy as “a marathon, not a sprint”. It seems to me like lot of players are falling out of the race though, or maybe they just took a quick break at the refreshment stand.
