Mad World Is Launching ‘Before’ June, Devs Say They’re Not Worried About Diablo 4

After several years in development and multiple delays, Mad World is finally on track for launch by June 2023. The 2D hand-drawn grimdark MMORPG was initially scheduled to launch in 2018 but was delayed to 2020, 2022, and finally to this spring.

In preparation for launch, developer Jandisoft officially opened pre-registrations on the game’s brand-new website earlier this week. It’s worth noting that Diablo 4 will be launching at around the same time as Mad World but the team seems confident enough to take the risk to finally get the game out.

“Different personality, other fun, so we’ll be fine,” said Jandisoft. “Great games always come out. And you guys have been waiting too long. We can’t make you wait any longer.”
