Metro Conflict Receives Skill System Revamp, "Reticle Trainer"

Metro Conflict's latest update has made major changes to the skill system. Every skill now affects all nearby allies. Cooldowns have been raised to around two minutes. Several skills have had their effective duration modified. The idea of these changes is to encourage more teamwork through positioning and effective skill use. The patch is called "There's No 'I' In Team" and these changes reflect that.

Geoffrey's Shockwave skill has also received changes. It is now deployed from the location the player activates it at rather than Geoffrey, making the skill stationary. Damage has been changed to one HP of damage per tick for seven seconds. To offset this, it now has an increased radius and a slowing effect.

A new "reticle trainer" buff has been added for new players. This will show a line on either side of your target's head to give the player an idea of how to line up their crosshair in order to get a headshot. An image showing the effects of this buff can be seen below. This buff lasts for 30 days and will no doubt be controversial. There's an argument to be made that existing FPS fans don't need it. There's another argument to be made that you shouldn't really need this in order to aim at an opponent's head.
