Mobile MOBA Planet Of Heroes Enters Closed Beta Tomorrow
Fast Forward Studio and My.com announced today that their mobile MOBA, Planet of Heroes, will be entering Closed Beta tomorrow. Planet of Heroes is "an innovative new MOBA for mobile devices" that "aims to capture the essence of what makes the genre great on PC while playing to the strengths of mobile platforms."
Those interested can sign up for a chance to take part in the Closed Beta here. While it is not yet known how long the Closed Beta will run for, it will be followed by a soft-launch in "late fall" and a "full release" in January of next year.
Matt's Take:
With a bright, colorful—almost WildStar-esque—aesthetic, Planet of Heroes looks as if it will be at least moderately entertaining. Vainglory was the game that really opened the door for MOBAs on mobile devices and I'm looking forward to seeing if Planet of Heroes can match it in terms of usability and overall fun.
