NetDragon's Q3 Financial Results Show Increase In Games Revenue

NetDragon has released its third quarter financial results for the year 2016 and they are showing a rather significant uptick in both total revenue and gaming-related revenue. Total revenue is sitting at 694.5 million RMB, a 167.7% year-over-year increase, whereas gaming-related revenue clocked in at 286.6 million RMB, a 19.9% year-over-year increase and 41.3% of the company's total revenue. The company's gross profit totaled 385.0 million, a 78.7% year-over-year increase.

The year-over-year increases are attributed to several occurrences, the first of which is that NetDragon's education business brought in over 40 times more profit than it did during this quarter last year. Additionally, both Eudemons Online's PC and pocket versions saw "broad-based revenue growth" during this past quarter, whereas third quarter is "a traditionally low season" for the games. The company's title Calibur of Spirit also saw revenue growth that contributed to the overall increase in revenue.
