Neverwinter Brings Back Rothé Valley And The Dragonflight Stronghold Encounter
Cryptic Studios has opened the Neverwinter vault of old content and has brought back Rothé Valley as a new Epic Adventure. The zone has been updated with improved visuals, streamlined quests, new Heroic Encounters, and a “stu-panda-ous” new battle pass.
From now until November 22nd, players will be able to complete Random Queues and Major Heroic Encounters in Rothé Valley every day to progress through the new battle pass and earn account-wide rewards, including the exclusive Glorious Panda mount.
“Just like the previous Battle Pass, Draconic Rage, if you miss a day, it’s not an issue!” said Cryptic. “Tasks are granted each day, even if you’re unable to log in that day, and stack up to three tasks max. You can make progress on the active milestone for free, and if you have the premium pass, you’ll be able to make progress on previous milestones as well!”
Rothé Valley isn’t the only content that’s made its way back to the classic MMORPG in this week’s update. Guilds will also be able to take on the returning Dragonflight Stronghold encounter which has also been updated with the new dragon models found in the Dragonslayer expansion’s new Dragon Hunts, four new daily missions, and new rewards. Guilds will also now be required to use Guild Marks to trigger the encounter instead of the now-retired Golden Bell.
The update also adds a new memorial NPC dedicated to departed players WiCKiD along with various balance adjustments and content changes. Details can be found in the full patch notes on the Neverwinter official site.
