New World Announces Launch Date For Its Highly-Anticipated Brimstone Sands Expansion
Over the past few months, New World has seen a surprising surge in its playerbase in anticipation of its upcoming Brimstone Sands expansion. At one point, the 17th century open world MMORPG even managed to claw its way back into the upper echelons of Steam’s Most Played Games list.
Brimstone Sands promises to be New World’s biggest content drop to date and now has a solid release date of October 18th. The expansion will introduce a new Ancient Egypt-inspired zone, new quests and expeditions, leveling adjustments, a revamped new-player experience, and the new Greatsword weapon type.
