Novaquark: Dual Universe Pre-Alpha Launch Was A Success

dual universe horizon ship newsSci-fi sandbox Dual Universe is inching its way closer to Alpha release with a series of closed pre-alpha testing runs held on September 30th and on October 21st. Paris-based indie developer Novaquark said that the tests were a “clear success.” Over 1,000 unique players participated in the tests whose feedback helped the team discover and fix important bugs in the game.

During the test, players got to try out the game’s tutorial system which walked them through how to build interactive contraptions and of course, spaceships. One team even managed to build a ship and discover one of the 12 planets that were available during the tests.

The team also released a series of pre-alpha tutorials to help get the testers quickly acquainted with the game and to give fans a glimpse into the game’s pre-alpha world. You can check out the videos after the break righ after the Dual Universe pre-alpha teaser and the October dev vlog. You can also head over to the game’s Kickstarter page for more info.
