NetEase’s upcoming “New Weird” post-apocalyptic survival MMO Once Human first popped up on our radar back in June when it opened pre-registrations for a September closed beta test. With that round of testing over and done, the developers are planning another beta test scheduled for later this month, the details of which will be revealed at this year’s PC Gaming Show which will kick off later today at 10 a.m. PST.

NetEase also promises to release a three-minute long “gameplay live battle demo” trailer which will offer viewers a brief look at actual group combat footage against various mobs and bosses. The studio also hinted at new content that will be revealed during the online showcase.

The icing on the cake is the announcement of a launch window set for the fourth quarter of 2023. While that’s still a long way off, it does give fans something to look forward to even if it’s just a rough timeline. Of course, there’s still a chance that it could change as we move closer to the said window. We’ll be sure to keep you updated with more information about the game as they become available.
