Overwatch Announces New Hero ‘Echo’ Along With Her Origin Story Video

A new hero is coming to Overwatch in the form of a sleek “evolutionary robot” called Echo. Echo was one of the “next six heroes” that Jeff Kaplan teased in an interview with Eurogamer back in 2018. She also made an appearance in the “Reunion” animated short starring Ashe and McCree.

Today, Blizzard Entertainment has officially unveiled Echo’s origin story with the promise that the technologically-advanced robot will be making her debut “soon”. Check out the new video below.
