Pantheon: Rise Of The Fallen Shows Off Its New ‘Hand-Painted’ Visuals

As promised, Visionary Realms has begun working on revamping Pantheon: Rise of the Fallen’s aging visuals to give the high fantasy MMORPG a hand-painted look while still retaining its gritty theme. In a new developer video released last Friday, the studio previewed a few snapshots of their work which is definitely an improvement over the upcoming game’s previous look.

The video shows off more colorful and stylized environments, character models, and NPCs. The aim of the visual revamp is to give Pantheon: Rise of the Fallen its own recognizable identity that will hopefully age better than the Unity assets currently in use, while also improving overall performance and allowing for faster deployment of new assets.
