Path Of Exile Will Be Removing Prophecy Content In January’s Patch 3.17.0

Over the past few years, Path of Exile has received a slew of new content and features. Some of them continue to be part of the core game experience while others, such as Prophecies, haven’t aged as well as the developers would have hoped. Because of this, Grinding Gear Games has announced that they will be removing all Prophecy content with the release of Patch 3.17.0 in January.

“Prophecy was introduced in 2016 and has been part of core Path of Exile content ever since then. However, over time it has become dated and outpaced by other newer content. In our January expansion, we're removing Prophecy from Path of Exile.”

Players who still have Silver Coins, Prophecies, and Pale Council fragments saved up will have until the update’s launch to use them. Navali and the Pale Council will also be hanging up their hats following the update’s release. A tentative list of the changes can be found here if you want to get into the details.
