Play Xbox Game Pass Games On Steam Deck Via The New Microsoft Edge Beta Client

Steam Deck owners can now play Xbox Game Pass on the portable platform through Microsoft’s new Edge beta for Linux. Simply startup Edge on Steam Deck, switch over to the new beta, and you should be good to go.

You can then head over to the Xbox Cloud Gaming Beta website to see the list of available games. Keep in mind that some games might not work on Steam Deck. Xbox Game Studios has put up a list of verified, playable, and unsupported games that work on the portable PC.

Verified games include Psychonauts 2, Hellblade: Senua’s Sacrifice, Battletoads, and Max: The Curse of Brotherhood, while the playable games list includes Sea of Thieves, Forza Horizon 5, Forza Horizon 4, Quantum Break, and State of Decay: Year One Survival Edition. Unsupported games due to anti-cheat include Gears 5, Halo: The Master Chief Collection, Halo Infinite, and Microsoft Flight Simulator X.

Even if you don’t have a Steam Deck, you can still take away the fact that after decades Microsoft is finally supporting Linux.
