Pre-Order Embers Adrift Now For Instant Access To This Weekend’s Playtest
Upcoming sandbox MMORPG Embers Adrift, formerly Saga of Lucimia, is now available for pre-order on the official site. For $50, players an exclusive title, a 3-day headstart, as well as access to this weekend’s playtest and future weekly test sessions which will be held every Wednesday night.
As for this weekend’s playtest, developer Stormhaven Studios says that they’ll be focusing on gathering data and feedback on the new player experience and the first two zones. “We are consolidating testing in these early zones to test early gameplay progression, balance, servers, and the social system,” tweeted Executive Producer John Gust. “As the weekend tests continue, we’ll unlock more and more content as we shift focus to test other areas of the game. Testers can expect frequent character wipes as we tune or change content. The NDA is still in place, so testers will not be allowed to stream, share screenshots, or video capture.”
Keep in mind that if you already backed Saga of Lucimia back when Tim Anderson and his brother were still on board, you won’t have to buy the game again. “All previous pre-alpha, and alpha purchases remain intact and have been transferred to Embers Adrift,” assured the devs.
The weekend test is now underway and will run until 10pm on Sunday, October 17th.
