Project Gorgon Gets (Modest) Stretch Goals

When Eric Heimburg announced that the team behind Project Gorgon were planning to keep adding new content beyond the base goal of $20,000 as stretch goals, I think everyone expected that they would add a new dungeon or a new continent. Previous Kickstarters have given the impression that most teams are going to go big or go home when it comes to stretch goals so that they can ensure that more money flows in. Whether or not the goals are realistic is tomorrow's problem. Project Gorgon's Kickstarter is different.

Late last night, the team behind Project Gorgon unveiled the new stretch goals. They are a backer exclusive mount and a timed-backer exclusive race/class, each $5000 higher than the last, respectively. These are...incredibly modest, to say the least. While we don't seem to ever have to worry that they are unrealistic goals, I don't think these are going to be packing the punch the team expected. Adding caveats such as "backers at the $100 tier or higher get this race/class instantly while others must complete in-game objectives" first certainly doesn't help either. No matter, with 22 days left in their campaign, perhaps they will reach these goals and some more impressive stretch goals will be announced.
