Say Goodbye To Elysian Caches With Today’s Anthem Update, Use Leftover Keys Now
Anthem Update v1.1.1 goes live later today and with it goes a reward mechanic that has given players increased chances to acquire cosmetic gear for the past month. It’s time to say goodbye to Elysian Caches.
“Elysian Caches each contain one of 162 possible vanity or crafting items, and four caches will appear at the end of each Stronghold. Everyone in your squad will be able to get the rewards from all the chests – if, of course, you have the right keys. You can get Elysian Keys by completing daily challenges, and either save up enough to open every cache yourself or have everyone on your team contribute a key of their own.”
BioWare explains on Reddit that Elysian Caches were just a temporary thing. There is, however, a chance that we’ll be seeing it come back in the future. Update v1.1.1 rolls out on May 7th at 8am PT so if you have any keys left now’s the time to use them. BioWare also reminds players that there will be no downtime as the update rolls out but you do have to restart the game to download the patch.
