Sea Of Thieves Season 2 Arrives With New Trade Routes And The Forts Of Fortune World Event

sea of thieves season 2 key art bannerSea of Thieves Season 2 is now live featuring new trials and deeds, new events, and the new Merchant Alliance Trade Routes that offers pirates a chance to earn extra gold through more honest means.

“Channel your inner maritime trader and make your fortune buying low and selling high on the new Merchant Alliance Trade Routes! Emissaries can buy Commodity Crates at Outposts, find out where these raw Commodities are in demand and head there to sell up for a tidy profit.”

Season 2 also kicks off the new Forts of Fortune world event which offers a greater challenge than Skeleton Forts with the promise of high-level haul and guaranteed Athena’s Treasures.

“With relentless enemy waves, dangerous items to dig up and the promise of a fiery finish, expect an ordeal worthy of the most battle-hardened pirate crew should you pit yourselves against the undead horde within!”

A new season also means that players will have to once again plow their way through 100 Renown levels to earn rewards, including new items that have yet to appear in the Pirate Emporium. A new Plunder Pass reward track is also available for those who want extra rewards.
