Cloud Imperium Games continues to build on existing features in Star Citizen as it prepares to roll out Alpha 3.19 on the live servers. The studio offers players and fans their first look at the

of the update which will include more abandoned ship varieties, settlement updates, and further improvements to the Lorville landing zone.

With the update’s release, players will come across more derelict ship varieties which range from freshly-crashed and burning to empty and overgrown. Abandoned settlements will also be getting an overhaul with new pre-fabricated buildings that the developers can easily place, adjust, and customize to create more settlements across the Stanton and Pyro systems.

As for Lorville, work on the city-slash-landing-zone continues with the addition of new train routes, adjustments to various building locations, new ship paths, and rooftop landing zones. Building interiors and related missions will also be coming in future updates.

After more than a decade in development, you’d expect the developers to be done with adding new things by now. Unfortunately, it looks like they’ve still got a lot of work to do if they hope to make good on their promise to finally release the long-delayed game this year.
