Star Citizen's community has been snapping photos and videos since the release of Alpha 2.6's Director Mode, and Star Citizen has compiled them into one gorgeous video—thanks to MassivelyOP for sharing it.
Even if you're wary about the project you can't deny the beauty of Star Citizen; I'm feeling skeptically optimistic after watching, and wish I could go explore space right now. Unfortunately, I have to learn some patience.
The Director Mode is a neat tool and I'm happy to see its implementation. In my own experience, communities do a better job at selling the games they love than the developers, because their passion leads to fascinating stuff, especially the shot of the player running through the starship as it spins with a planet in the backdrop.
