Star Wars: The Old Republic 6.0 Expansion Announced, Focuses on Empire vs Republic
In an interview with SWTOR Central, a popular Youtube channel, Bioware's Eric Musco and Charles Boyd confirmed that they are working on another expansion for the sci-fi MMORPG which will focus on the Empire vs Republic core storyline. The game already has an internal tentative release date, but they can't quite announce it to the public just yet. Once they do though we should hear more about all the new features coming to the game.
This bit of news should come as relief for many as it was rumored that SWTOR would be shutting down after massive server mergers. Now that we know there's another expansion in the works, I suspect the game won't be on the chopping block anytime soon.
