Tencent's Mobile MOBA Arena of Valor Soft Launches in North America

The unbelievably successful 5v5 mobile MOBA from Tencent, Arena of Valor, just soft launched in North America today and it's a big deal. Arena of Valor is easily the world's highest grossing game, earning a whopping $435M a month. Playerbase wise the game reported over 100 million daily active users, and that was back when it was only available in China. To put that number into context, League of Legends, the world's most popular PC game gets only 100 million monthly active users. If you're curious what all the fuss is about give it a try.

While I personally don't look forward to most mobile games, I already downloaded Arena of Valor and have been playing the Soft launched European version for some time. It's basically League of Legends on mobile and it works surprisingly well with touch controls.
