TERA prepares Patch 58.03.01a, The Playerbase hurt itself in its confusion!

Some MMO patches have titles - like Vindictus's recent Dullahan at 95 Update. Other MMOs like to stick to the simple and clean numbering system - like Final Fantasy XIV, and its recently released Patch 4.06.

And then you have TERA, and its Patch 58.03.01a update.

I don't understand it - what drives a company to title a patch with such a long string? Nontheless, this is a rather substantial patch, with dungeon changes and class balance changes.

Dungeons

Akeron's Inferno (Hard) has been slightly nerfed, with lowered boss HP. Select underlings have also been nerfed. Manglemire is now Item Level 423, and drops new rewards - Godsboon and Godsbane accessories, Tier 11 Feedstock, and Deathwrack Designs.

Class balances

  • Slayers will no longer have MP decay out-of-combat. Additionally, they have received damage increases across the board, from skill damage to crit chance to attack area.
  • Berserkers no longer have MP decay out-of combat, other QoL changes
  • Mystics received cooldown time reductions and QoL changes
  • Same for ArchersReapersNinjasBrawlersWarriors, and Valkyries - QoL changes across the board
  • Gunners have received substantial changes, with Glyph cost reductions, Increase skill damage, increase crit chance on Scattershot, and extra Willpower generation.

The patch is live now, so players can hop on and enjoy TERA's patch 58.03.01a! Or as I shall affectionately refer to it, Greg.
