The Elder Scrolls Online Kicks Off New Year-Long Storyline With Today’s Harrowstorm DLC Launch
The Elder Scrolls Online new year-long Dark Heart of Skyrim saga kicks off today as the Harrowstorm DLC officially goes live for the PC and Mac. The DLC will feature the new Icereach and Unhallowed Grave dungeons which bring new challenges, rewards, mobs, and bosses into the game.
But before you get to dive into the new dungeons you’ll need to first re-download the entire game client as part of Update 25’s “Patching Overhaul”. This should result in smaller patches in the future and faster loading times. Plus, you’ll get a free Torchbug pet for your trouble. The free base game update also introduces a number of performance improvements including behind-the-scenes changes to combat and framerate optimizations.
