Nexon subsidiary Embark Studios has opened sign-ups for the first closed beta test of its new team-based shooter The Finals. The playtest itself will kick off on March 7th and will run for two weeks to give fans ample time to test the game’s experimental features and for the dev team to gather much-needed feedback.

“THE FINALS remains in development and beta participants should expect plenty of tweaks, changes, and additions based on the feedback they give. It’s a game that brings experimental features—like server-side movement and destruction—and many of these will take iteration to get right,” said the devs.

The beta test will be PC-exclusive and will feature casual and ranked game modes, two distinct maps inspired by downtown Seoul and old-town Monaco, as well as a practice range where they’ll get to play around with various weapons, gadgets, and the fully destructible environment. Testers will also have the chance to unlock cosmetic items, new weapons, and new gadgets throughout the two-week testing period.

If you’re looking to throw your name into the hat, you can now do so on Steam. There’s also a brand-new trailer waiting for your after the jump.
