The Secret World Players Concerned Over Disappearance Of Account Creation Page

The Secret World community is currently in disarray over the sudden disappearance of the game’s official account page. Prior to its disappearance, fans and existing players could still purchase the original game and create new accounts but any attempts to do so now redirects users to The Secret World Legends website instead.

This could be chalked up to one of two reasons: either it’s a bug or Funcom has finally decided to sunset the nine-year-old paranormal MMORPG and has disabled the creation of new accounts in preparation for its shutdown. The publisher has yet to comment on the matter, but fans of the original game are hoping that it’s the former.

Players are advised to report the issue as a bug in hopes of getting a response from Funcom. The game itself, however, is still live and kicking as confirmed by its loyal community. We’ll be sure to keep you abreast of any new developments. Fingers crossed everyone.
