The Secret World Tabletop RPG Kickstarter Ends With Over $150K Pledged

Star Anvil Studios has managed to secure over $150,000 in pledges as the Kickstarter campaign for its upcoming The Secret World tabletop RPG comes to a close. That’s well over the studio’s initial funding goal of $40,000 which it quickly reached within the first day of the crowdfunding drive’s opening.

Backers have also unlocked multiple stretch goals over the course of the month-long Kickstarter campaign, although it ended just shy of the final stretch goal which would have unlocked additional Gamemaster Chapters.

Note that the game is still a work-in-progress and it may take a while before anything materializes. The good news is that Funcom has given Star Anvil their blessing and will be providing the latter with the art and lore they need for the project which means that all that’s left is to actually make the game.

“Now the real work begins,” said Star Anvil.
