Torchlight 3 Reveals New Sharpshooter Class
Perfect World Entertainment and Ecthra Games has just unveiled the newest class in their upcoming multiplayer ARPG Torchlight 3, formerly known as Torchlight Frontiers. Equipped with ranged weapons, the Sharpshooter, a.k.a the Elusive Explorer, uses precision skills and ancient magical trinkets to take down enemies before they can even get close. The Sharpshooter will also be the only class that can equip bows.
“Sharpshooters are among the most reliable adventurers, able to use their skills to procure artifacts hidden deep within trap-laden tombs. Sharpshooters gather their own collections, evoking the "Finder's Clause," found in most Pursuit Contracts, which allows them to keep a portion of their finds. Many of the artifacts house ancient spirits who once dwelled within the ruins that Sharpshooters prowl. Some form close personal bonds with these spirits, who aid them on their journey. With deadly accuracy and an assortment of ancient spirits at their command, the Sharpshooter is ready for adventure.”
The Sharpshooter is now live on the Closed Alpha servers and will join the Dusk Mage, Forged, and Railmaster as one of the playable classes when the game officially launches later this year.
