Torchlight 3 Spotlights Forts In A New Video, Fixes Travel Party Crash Issue

Runic Games continues to shine the spotlight on the recently-released Forts feature in Torchlight 3, the ARPG’s equivalent of player housing in MMORPGs. Last week, the studio published a dev blog talking about the finer points of having your own personal space. Today, they’ve released a brand new video that shows off what you can do with them.

“With so many options, picking what to put in your fort might be harder than you think! Will you build an estate dedicated to the pursuit of knowledge and camaraderie? Or will you construct an iron fortress made solely to wage war on your enemies? You decide!”

The closed beta build has also been updated with a fix for the party travel crash issue. Apparently, the problem is being caused by custom player portraits of all things. The feature has temporarily been disabled while the devs work on fixing it. The update also comes with a number of skill tweaks for the Railmaster along with general improvements and bug fixes.
