Torchlight 3's Winter-Themed Snow &Steam Update Is Now Live On All Platforms

Echtra Games has just rolled out the biggest Torchlight 3 update on PC, Xbox One, PlayStation 4, and Nintendo Switch to date. Dubbed Snow & Steam, the update features new winter-themed content including new icy weapons, new legendary items, and a new legendary armor set.

The update also introduces the new and improved Forged class, a revamped Fazeer’s Dun’jinn, along with major Fort updates which includes new fort decorations and the addition of the new style station for customizing characters. Several new pets have also been added to the game which can be acquired by completing a time-limited contract, by completing dungeons and by exploring the frontier.

“With the update, a new, limited-time Snow & Steam Contract has been added that gives players the chance to spend the holidays with two new furry companions — the Frost Owl and the Ugly Sweater Cat. Players that make progress for this contract can earn additional content, including snow-based fort decorations plus an assortment of rewards.

In addition, players can also find two new pets, an adorable Reindeer and the Jolly Ferret, and a special winter holiday-themed variant of the well-beloved Retriever pet across the frontier and in dungeons.”

The contract will only be available during the holiday season but any rewards and items unlocked during that time will be permanent.
