Ubisoft Confirms Ubisoft Forward 2022 Showcase For September

Unlike other publishers that like to hype up in-development projects, Ubisoft is pretty secretive about what the titles that they’re working on. The French publisher was noticeably absent from last month’s not-E3 showcase as well as The Game Awards 2021 back in December.

Last year’s Ubisoft Forward showcase was also a bit underwhelming although we did get treated to a trailer for the studio’s long-awaited Avatar game, Avatar: Frontiers of Pandora. The following month also saw a leak about an in-development live service Assassin’s Creed game called Assassin’s Creed Infinity which is expected for release in 2024 at the earliest. Aside from those two games, Ubisoft hasn’t mentioned any other games that are currently in its pipeline.

Hopefully, we’ll get a few more reveals and new game announcements later this year as Ubisoft announces the official date for Ubisoft Forward 2022 where the studio promises to “reveal updates and news on multiple games and projects from Ubisoft teams around the world.” That’s happening on September 10th. But before that, we’ll be getting a more in-depth look at the long-delayed Skull and Bones in a re-reveal stream scheduled for tomorrow, July 7th.
