Ubisoft Pushes Back Skull And Bones Launch Again, Passes On E3 2019

skull and bones crows nestLooks like Ubisoft’s open-world pirate MMO Skull and Bones will take a while longer before it’s worthy to set sail. The French developer and publisher announced during their latest investor call that the game’s launch will be delayed (again) until after the company’s 2020 financial year. That means that the earliest possible launch date will be around April 2020.

Skull and Bones was first revealed at E3 2017 and is being developed by Ubisoft Singapore. The game was initially planned to launch by the end of 2018 but was then pushed back to April 2019 “to offer players an even more engaging experience.” It was then delayed again to 2019/2020 financial year. According to Gamespot, Ubisoft also announced that the game will not be making an appearance at this year’s E3 conference.
