Ultima Online New Legacy Arrives This Fall With Beta Testing To Begin This Summer
It’s nearly been four years since Broadsword Online Games started working on a newbie-friendly ruleset server called Ultima Online: New Legacy. The wait will soon be over as the studio finally reveals its plans to launch the long-delayed server in September with beta testing expected to begin this summer.
“We are working closely with our alpha testing team to bring a beta version of Ultima Online: New Legacy to the world by this summer,” reports producer Bonnie Armstrong. “Barring any unforeseen delays, our goal is to launch Ultima Online: New Legacy in September to celebrate the 27th Anniversary of Ultima Online!”
Meanwhile, testing continues for Publish 117 in preparation for its release sometime this spring. The update will primarily focus on revamping the PvP experience in addition to new veteran rewards, updates to the Black Market, and the long-running MMORPG’s next live event – Shrouded Sails.
