Tencent and Level Infinite’s new multiplayer survival shooter Undawn has officially launched worldwide on PC and mobile devices. The game recently made waves when it featured Will Smith in one of its trailers, although the Hollywood actor will apparently also be playing a major role in the game itself. He plays Trey Jones, a fellow survivor who’ll act as your guide and will offer various information and insight into the game and its mechanics.

As for the game itself, it promises an open-world survival experience in a post-apocalyptic world overrun by hordes of infected, not unlike a certain movie that Will Smith also starred in. Players will be able to scavenge, hunt, and fish for supplies and build structures while fighting off the undead and managing their character’s mood.

Developed on Unreal Engine 4, the game boasts dynamic weather, a vast seamless map, base building, factional combat, and wide range of vehicles to get you quickly and more safely around the game world.

“With Undawn, the team took on an ambitious mission to create an open-world RPG that would redefine the survival genre,” touted the studio. “We’re excited for players to get to experience their vision come to life and truly immerse themselves in this massive post-apocalyptic adventure.”

Undawn is now available on PC via Steam, as well as on Google Play and the App Store. Don’t forget to check out the official launch trailer below.
