zenith artwork lotus robotics bannerAnime cyberpunk VR MMO Zenith seems to getting a whole lot of attention (and funding) as they reach over $200,000 in crowdfunding with 16 days still left in their Kickstarter campaign. Developer Ramen VR launched the highly-successful campaign last month, a campaign which reached their initial funding goal within four hours of launch.

“Hey everyone, we didn't expect to make it to 200k this quickly. We have been overwhelmed with sappy emotion and we want to thank everyone for your contributions,” writes Ramen VR co-founder Andy Tsen.

A new cat-like playable race has been unlocked as part of the campaign’s stretch goals. Details about the new race have yet to be revealed although Tsen promisesd to unveil the race name along with a bit of lore over the weekend. We’re still waiting on the reveal.

To celebrate the $200k milestone, and as part of their stretch goal pledges, Co-founders Andy and Lauren hosted a livestream where they sing popular anime theme songs. Check out the full stream here.
