Warframe Rolls Out Veilbreaker Update And Its 50th Frame On All Platforms
Warframe’s highly-awaited Veilbreaker update is now live on all platforms, bringing with it a new ‘Frame along with a new single-player questline and new weekly missions. The highlight of the update is the game’s 50th addition to it’s every-growing roster of magic-imbued space ninjas – Styanax, a spear and shield-wielding ‘Frame inspired by ancient mythical warriors. The new ‘Frame can be claimed for free by simply logging in from now until September 21st.
As for the new single-player questline, you’ll get to take control of the Grineer Lancer Khal-175 from The New War expansion as you take on an army of Sentient enemies. You’ll also be able to complete new weekly missions that earn various rewards that can be used to customize and upgrade the legendary Grineer hero.
You can also use your favorite Warframe to battle it out with Archons together with your buddies in new Archon Hunts and unlock new TennoGen items as well as new customization options for Protea Caladrius, Voidshell Skins for Excalibur, Nova, Wukong, and Styanax.
Veilbreaker also introduced various balance changes including the removal of the ammo bonus for Primary Merciless Arcane. The change has put Digital Extremes in hot water with the community who are complaining about having to reload more often with the passive removed.
