Warlords Awakening (ELOA) Relaunch Delayed Till August 2

Buy to play fantasy action MMORPG Warlords Awakening delayed its early access launch to August 2, 2018. It was previously set to launch on July 26th, but was delayed after receiving feedback from beta testers.

“Over the course of our Ambassador Test period, a number of issues have come to our attention, and it would be unfitting to release the game without some of the core issues resolved. This is of course disheartening to us and our loyal fans of the game, but we believe it is for the best. With these core issues fixed, we believe Early Access will be able to launch more smoothly and provide players with a much more enjoyable experience” – Said Ricky So of PLAYWITH Interactive Inc.

ELOA was originally available as a free to play game through Webzen, but shut down after failing to attract a large enough audience. It later relaunched through GamenGame only to meet the same fate shortly after launch. Given the game's previous failures, relaunching it as a buy to play title seems to be a quick way to guarantee failure, but time will tell if this time is different.
