World of Warcraft shines the spotlight of the dragon-like race of Dracthyrs and the new Evoker hero-class, both of which will be making their way to the long-running MMORPG when Phase 2 of the Dragonflight pre-patch arrives next week.

“Created by Neltharion the Earth-Warder, the essence of dragons was combined with the adaptability of the mortal races to create an elite soldier capable of switching from a draconic form to humanoid form. Long in a magical stasis, they are now awakening to a new threat within the Dragon Isles. It is in the Forbidden Reach that the dracthyr Evoker will start their journey to reclaim their fractured memories and face a new reality.”

Drachtyr Evokers will start off their journey at Leve 58 with no other requirements other than owning a copy of the Dragonflight expansion, at least for the first one you roll. Subsequent Evoker rolls will be limited to one per realm and will require you to have at least one Level 50 non-Dracthyr character on the realm that you want to create it on.

The new hero class will come with its own starter experience which will take place in Forbidden Reach, one of the five new zones included in the upcoming expansion which is schedule for release on November 28th. As for Phase 2 of the expansion’s pre-patch, that’s coming on November 15th.
