Burstfire Overview

Burstfire is a realistic tactical shooter with a buy-to-play business model that looks and plays a lot like Valve's Counter-Strike: Global Offensive. Unlike free-to-play shooters like Dirty Bomb which feature classes, Burstfire has an open ended weapon system where anyone can buy any type of weapon. The gameplay aims to be strategic in nature and encourages smart teamwork and even goes as far as to label itself a "slow-paced" FPS. One team attacks while the other defends. Similar to Counter-Strike, players must wait to respawn on death. Visually and gameplay wise - Burstfire seems to resemble Rainbow 6 Siege.

Burstfire Key Features:

  • Counter-Strike Style Death System – one life, one round. No respawning until next round.
  • No Classes players can gear up however they like.
  • Attacking & Defending – one team attacks while the other defends. Defenders can lay down traps.
  • Communicate In-Game – build in Voip system, like Dirty Bomb and Dota 2.
  • Accessorize – customizable appearance options, weapon skins, and add-on scopes.
