The Weekly Raid: How Do You Know You're Burnt Out On An MMO?

Everyone has experienced it: that moment when you know you're done: donzeo, badabing, badaboom—time for the next game. It's hard to figure out exactly what that moment is, or if its even the same from game to game. Though I think you can nail down some similar experiences that nudge at you and say, "Yeah, you're going to be done with this one tomorrow."

Whenever I play an MMORPG there comes a time where I have a full quest log, or tons of dailies, or something I'm supposed to be doing; and instead of doing what I'm supposed to do, I'm walking around town aimlessly. That's when I know I'm about to uninstall.

How do you know when you're burnt out on an MMO? Let us know in the comments below!

From Mega Man II to Ape Escape, I've been playing games for as long as I can remember. I've spent months killing porings in Ragnarok Online and more recently lived a second life in Eve Online. I usually play as gUMBY, gUMBLEoni, or gUMBLes in-game.

I usually feel that it's time to quit a game when I log in just to get the login rewards.
Or I just leave my character in the same location while I watch some video on YouTube usually about other games. Or read articles about upcoming games.
There are also times that I just login unto the guild voice chat to talk to guild mates and disregard losing into the game at all.
When these situations start happening I usually end up uninstalling the game in the next couple of days.
