Armored Warfare Introduces Chinese Tanks On February 11th
On February 11th, Armored Warfare Update 0.13 is going live. As part of the update, a new dealer named Zhang Feng is being added. He will be selling seven new Chinese tanks. These new tanks are the Tier 3 Type 59, the Tier 4 Type 69-II, the Tier 5 Type 80-II, the Tier 6 Type 85-IIM, the Tier 7 Type 90-II, the Tier 8 Type 98, and the Premium Tier 5 WZ-1224.
Several other additions were made in this update. A new PvP map called Coastal Threat takes players to the Mediterranean coast. The PvE reward system has been overhauled, with a general increase in rewards, and players now earn "approximately [10%]" more PvP reputation.
The matchmaking system has also seen an overhaul, now being dubbed "Matchmaker 2.0." In the new systems, platoons are matched with "equally tiered platoons or players who match the top tier in the platoon." Artillery will be matched in a manner that tiers are balanced on both sides. It is noted that platoons may experience longer queue times, but solo players should get into more balanced matches faster now.
