Armored Warfare Receiving Replays And A New Map Later This Month

armored-warfare-update-0.14

Armored Warfare Update 0.14 will be releasing later this month and it is bringing with it Replays, a new map, three new missions, and more. The replay mode will be fairly robust, allowing the viewer to explore the match in a free camera mode or spectate individual vehicles.

The new map is called Highwall. Spanning 1200m², this map "takes place completely within an industrial strip mine." A terrain characterized by "multiple pathways set at varying elevations" gives players a wide range of tactical options while mimicking real world mining operations.

The three new missions are Operation: Albatross, Operation: Cerberus, and Operation: Frostbite. Operation: Albatross tasks players with taking control of the lone airstrip in "an otherwise endless forest." Operation: Cerberus requires players to destroy an "elite strike team" that is currently besieging "a train hauling a critical munitions shipment." Operation: Frostbite sees players defending an oil refinery in the middle of a forest from invading forces during a blizzard.

The update will also feature "high tier gameplay changes," but the details have yet to be announced. New social network sharing features will allow players to share screenshots directly from the client. The full update preview can be found here.
