CD Projekt Red is once again on the receiving end of a class-action lawsuit from the Polish studio’s investors over the Cyberpunk 2077 launch fiasco. The second lawsuit was filed last Friday in the Central District Court of California by a yet unnamed law firm.

As with the first one that was filed in New York, the second class-action suit seeks to recover damages caused by Cyberpunk 2077’s poor performance on last gen consoles, particularly on Xbox One and PlayStation 4, and misleading statements from the studio’s heads.

And as in the case of the earlier lawsuit, CD Projekt Red also stated that the complaint doesn’t specify the amount of damages sought and that they will vigorously defend themselves from any such claims.

In addition to two lawsuits, the studio is also being closely monitored by the Polish Office of Competition and Consumer Protection, or UOKiK, and is facing potential fines should they fail to deliver the promised fixes.

The new lawsuit followed hot on the heels of an apology video from the CD Projekt Red executives. You can check that out below just in case you missed it.
