Conan Exiles Rolls Out Age Of Sorcery: Chapter 3 On Funcom’s 30th Birthday
The third and final chapter of the Conan Exiles’ Age of Sorcery narrative with new story content and a brand-new dungeon with the great sorcerer Kurak as the final boss.
“The Age of Sorcery has set the Exiled Lands simmering with conflict and volatile powers. In Chapter 3, you will witness and participate in its culmination as the rituals of great sorcerers clash,” Funcom previously announced. “Every day, the world is cast in the blood red shadow of an eclipse, a portent of doom if ever there was one. Assist Mek-kamoses and discover the terrible purpose of the one behind the spread of sorcery – Kurak.”
Age of Sorcery: Chapter 3 also introduces the new Golem Shaping system which will allow players to craft and summon a craggy companion to fight by their side and gather resources. “Explore the world to collect and assemble your own golem from various parts and materials to create a powerful guardian. Order it to destroy your enemies or, for the first time ever in Conan Exiles, have it autonomously harvest materials for you,” touted the studio.
In addition to the newly-added content and features, Chapter 3 also revamps and streamlines the Journey System to allow for more efficient completion of the tutorial missions and claiming of rewards. “Without sacrificing any of Conan Exiles’ openness and freedom, the Journey system allows you to easily find and explore any content in the game by simply selecting the Journey you wish to discover and following the tasks. Explore countless secrets, master every aspect of war, crafting, building, and earn valuable rewards with every Journey completed along the way,” the studio added.
Age of Sorcery: Chapter 3’s release also marks Funcom’s 30th year of developing and publishing high-quality and iconic titles including Age of Conan, The Secret World, The Longest Journey franchise, and the highly-awaited Dune Awakening MMORPG.
