Cyberpunk 2077 Will Also Be Launching On Google Stadia
Cyberpunk 2077 will also be launching on Google Stadia alongside the other previously announced platforms said developer CD Projekt Red. The announcement came during the team’s latest Night City Wire episode. CD Projekt Red SVP of Business Development Michal Nowakowski highlighted the benefits of playing the game on Google’s cloud gaming service in the official press release:
“Huge in scale and scope, Cyberpunk 2077 is our most ambitious game to date. It’s humbling to see just how many people are looking forward to playing it, and we want to make it possible for as many gamers as possible come November 19th, when the game launches. The Stadia version will allow players to jump into Night City just seconds after the game unlocks for play worldwide without any downloads needed.”
Google Stadia players will also get a variety of digital goodies including wallpapers, the game’s original score, an art booklet, and more.
In addition to the Google Stadia announcement, the Polish studio also revealed that they’re bringing the iconic Porsche 911 to Cyberpunk 2077 as a unique and fully-drivable vehicle. According to the devs, the car retains its classic 1977 look but has been adapted to the reality of 2077 with the addition of a lidar attachment, sensors, and electronic mirrors with in-vehicle monitors.
Cyberpunk 2077 will launch on PC, Google Stadia, Xbox One, Xbox Series X, PlayStation 4, and PlayStation 5 on November 19th. You can watch the full Night City Wire episode below.
