Dual Universe Publishes A Guide On What To Do Before The Launch Reset

Dual Universe is now exactly a month away from the sci-fi space MMORPG’s full release and the subsequent server wipe. In preparation for the wipe, Novaquark has published a server reset guide with more information on the process to help players get ready for the inevitable.

As the studio previously revealed, players will get to keep their character name, all of their core blueprints, and their friends list. This will give everyone a chance to start on more or less equal footing when the space sandbox MMORPG officially leaves beta on September 27th.

Before the servers are wiped, players are advised to make blueprints of every construct that they want to keep and to retrieve those that are in the possession of another player or stored in a different location. These blueprints will need to be stored in either the player’s nanopack or personal containers for them to carry over to full release although it’s probably best to keep them in your nanopack just to be safe.

Players will also be able to keep their Organizations, provided that they’re the Super-Legate, the title given to the creator, owner, and top-ranking officer of an Organization. Super-Legates are advised to make a list of all the Organization’s members so that they can be reinvited after the launch.

For those with active subscriptions, you’ll be awarded Pioneer Packs which will grant you monthly talent points and Quanta for the first six months after launch. These can be claimed as long the subscription remains active.
