Elder Scrolls Online Rolls Out Update 40 And The New Endless Archive Dungeon
Update 40 is now live in Elder Scrolls Online, opening the doors of the new Endless Archive dungeon to everyone who owns the base game. As the name suggests, the Endless Archive offers a virtually infinite dungeon experience as players work their way through randomly generated stages that become increasingly difficult with each successful run.
“Update 40 features the new PvE gameplay activity, Endless Archive, where you must battle your way through dynamic stages with monsters and bosses you’ve encountered all throughout Tamriel,” developer ZeniMax announced. “Endless Archive can be played solo, or with a friend or Companion, and gives you the opportunity to obtain all sorts of new loot and collectibles including new Class Item Sets, a unique mount, and more.”
Update 40 also features the long-awaited group finder tool which should make it a whole lot easier for players to group up for dungeons (including the Endless Archive), trials, arenas, and PvP activities. The update also introduced the consolidated Grand Master Crafting Stations, standardized XP and gold gains for quests, and an overhaul of the jewelry crafting system.
