Elite Dangerous Breaks 1.4 Million Copies Sold

Since its launch in December 2014, Elite Dangerous has seen what appeared to be widespread success. The successfully crowdfunded game has topped Steam's best selling charts multiple times. At this very moment, over a year after launch, over 3000 players are currently in-game. Today, we get some more precise numbers regarding its success. Elite Dangerous has sold 1.4 million copies between the PC, Mac, and Xbox One versions. On average, each player has spent 60 hours in-game.
