Elite Dangerous Headed To PlayStation 4 On June 27th

Elite Dangerous originally launched on PC on December 6, 2014. An Xbox One version followed on October 6, 2015. Now, nearly two years later, PlayStation 4 owners will finally be able to join in on the 1:1 scale open world rendition of the Milky Way and all of the trading and space combat that comes with it, as the game will be launching on their console of choice on June 27th.

As with the Xbox One version, the PlayStation 4 version will share the background simulation with other platforms, but players will not be able to play together unless they are on the same platform.

The PlayStation 4 version of Elite Dangerous will be available both digitally and in retail stores on June 27th. The digital version is set to be available for pre-order from the PlayStation Store starting May 30th.
