Frontier Developments has rolled out the sixth post-launch update to fix and improve the Elite Dangerous Odyssey expansion that came out in May. Of significant note are the new and improved planetary textures and colors as well as new planet surface types to add variation to on-foot explorations.

The update also introduces changes to the camera suite, new rocket-equipped Enforcer troops, better AI, and performance improvements, including AMD Super-resolution integration which renders scenes at a lower resolution before being upscaled instead of rendering everything at full resolution.

There’s also a ton of tweaks and fixes such an increase in the difficulty of Professional Assassination missions, an option to store modules after purchasing them instead of installing them on the ship, scaling AI vision based on the size of observed objects, UI updates, and more. The full patch notes on the Elite Dangerous official forums offers a detailed and exhaustive list of the new feature, changes, and fixes that came with the update.

Frontier Developments also show off the new features and improvements in their latest dev stream. You can check that out below.
