Elite: Dangerous Previews What’s Coming Next In The Ongoing Thargoid War

Are you ready to dive deeper into Thargoid maelstroms than ever before? Elite: Dangerous’ upcoming Update 15 introduces a new Thargoid pulse neutralizer that allows players to do just that. While the contents of these maelstroms are still unknown, players will now have the tools to explore them to the fullest.

But beware, a new hunter-class ship known as the Glaive may be waiting for you. This small, fast, heavily armored ship is capable of flying circles around all but the best-equipped starships. Will you be able to fend off this new threat?

In addition to maelstrom diving, Update 15 brings a new on-foot mission that requires stealthy powering up of planetary settlements without being caught by Thargoid Revenants. These flying enemies are about the size of a moon rover and have a bright yellow vision cone that players must avoid. If spotted, the Revenants will attack and draw other enemies to the area, so stay stealthy if you want to succeed.

While these details are just a preview, we can expect more information to be revealed in the patch notes coming soon. So, prep your spaceships and get ready to face the challenges ahead in Elite: Dangerous’ Update 15.
